Trade fair at touchwood

As part of the young enterprise competition, we went to the Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull. For this, we had to make a trade stand which can be seen in the photo, and create our product to sell to the general public. our marketing team put together our trade stand. Our products were put together by our finance and operations team.

While we were there we took shifts at the trade stand talking to the public and selling our products. To help attract people to come and talk to us about our product we had a lucky dip for a sweet which helped us to attract our target market of families.

Overall we sold all but 2 products which we took to the trade fair selling at £10 each.

But we were skeptical about whether or not we would win as the team directly next to us had throughout the day a very large amount of people showing interest.

But when the time came we all gathered around for the announcement of the winner. We had done it our sunflower mascot Ben went up shook the judge's hand and we received the £50 Touchwood gift card.

We look forward to the Birmingham area competition and we look forward to seeing where our young enterprise journey can take us.
